Questionable online retailer.....

I've finally sold my Canon 300D with a 18-55mm kit lens for a very reasonable €350 which means I'm now officially back in the market for a Canon 40D, especially since Canon are offering their £100 cash-back deal.

The best price I've found so far is from elitegadgets.com for just £619.99, then minus the £100 and that's a 40D body just £519.99. Bargain! (Especially since I work in Europe with the Euro to GBP exchange).

My only question is how reputable are these guys? I've heard their stuff is all "grey imports".

What does this exactly mean? Do I still get my Canon warranty and will I also get my cashback deal?

I just ordered a 40D body from kerso on ebay for £570 + £20 postage. so £490 after cashback. He gets them from America but gives you a UK invoice for claiming the cashback and it worked fine with the 17-40 L i bought off him. You'll find lots of people reccomending him on photography forums and you can usually get very quick delivery although ive had to wait a week or so for him to get new stock. Expecting it this week

When I bought my 20D it was cheaper to buy a return flight with BA and buy it in Gibralter than buy it here...
