Didn't go out mind as we had an impromptu night sat out on the balcony drinking wine and beer with one of Vicki's friends last night and I correctly summised that if I buggered off out at 6am and Vic had to get up with Max at 06.30 with a banging head, then I would not be flavour of the day!

As it is, Vic gets a lie in and I get brownie points And to go out tomorrow morning instead.

Well, whatever date it is, I'm off out in a few mins to explore some lovely empty, windy roads over towards to coast. Even BlueYonder's dragged himself out of bed to come along as passenger.

Best get t' themos filled up, ah, champion

... and a cracking run it was!

Out along the south of the river where there are some very fast straights interspersed with sweeping bends, then, after handing the wheel over to BlueYonder, over the Humber Bridge and out through East Hull towards the coast where the roads get really fun with plenty of fast sections mixed with very tight bendy bits.

Stop for a cup of tea overlooking the sea at Withernsea, back into the driver's seat and up the fast coast road to Hornsea, then cross country to Beverley. Stopped for a bacon buttie and another cup of tea at one of the cleanest buttie vans known to man on the Westwood, then back home by 09.30.

Then Mark.B popped across about 11 to go for a little run in the car and have a good look round ... if he thought he might like one before, I think he definitely wants one now ... and cheers for the beers Mark

'Twas a great run and the weather wasn't as bad as expected either! Big thanks to Burriana for my first ever drive in a Fezza...bloody fandabbydozy!! Think we may have another potential dawn raid route sorted

i know the exact roads your talking about, they are very good, withernsea to hornsea is a cracker! also up and onto brid continues the great roads! got out and about myself too, had a right hoot over by the sun inn and them golf balls north of otley.

Spot on roads up over that way

Infact, spot on roads all over around Leeds once you know where they are... basically ones that are not coloured in on maps

I can help you out if you want at any point. Plenty of the unclassified roads are actually perfectly good B-road spec stuff...

Blubberhouses to Greenhow for example, what a road!

Infact all the roads are 'what a road' up that way


Just need to get my car a few more bhp and I might be able to join you out for a run one morning if you'd like, take in some of the best roads up into the foot of the dales.

No worries - thanks for being so generous with your time (and petrol) by letting me take a look around - your car is absolutley fantastic. I am 100% on the search for a good one now

BTW 6 owners over 18 years isn't anything to be concerned about it is? A new owner every three years would mean each owner will have scratched their itch right?

if the history is correct and present and you do your homework then the issue of how many owners is mute in my opinion.

Correct, and you will probably find that a few of those owners may have only had it a year and then moved up the ladder. I only had my Spider for 15 months. Just make sure that there are no big gaps in the service.

Having said that, if there is, but it was say 8 years ago and the servicing has been bang on since, probably not worth worrying about
