I could only make it for the qualifying on Saturday but it was as fantastic as I expected.
Actually, it was better than I expected.

The Xero yellow Corvette team invited us into their paddock area for a good look around. Peter le Bas let us sit in the car and talked us through it.
We then watched the incar video of the qualifying with the team and got talked through the data they were getting on the laptop hooked up to the car.

Peter Le Bas was a bloody friendly bloke. Actually the whole team were.
I wish him and the whole team all the best for the remaining 2 races of the season.
We will be there to support them at Brands Hatch In September.

I did tell him to get on to PistonHeads so watch this space!

Anyone here go on Sunday? Didn't make it in the end.

Was wandering around the pit lane during qualifying sessions and thought I had seen Peter Wheeler.
He gave me a grimicing look as he caught me staring at him.
I thought, "nah it cant be" but have only just found out that it actually was him!

Well it would hardly be surprising, seeing as he was there racing Tuscans. Rich...

And that’s what I just found out!

My first time watching the Tuscans. Didnt realise Mr Wheeler raced them himself. Makes sense now why "that one at the back" didnt have any sponsers!

D'oh! There goes my discounted TVR!
What I meant to say was " the guy in the dark green car may have been at the back but he was by far the best driver there"

'Ere, Dusty C, PLB ain't just a great bloke (along of course with the rest of the Xero team, who are all brill), from a chick's perspective, he's sex on legs!! Good luck indeed to both 'Vettes for Spa and Brands. Couldn't believe my luck, got a last minute offer of a lift to Thruxton on Sunday and had a fab day!

It's clear to see that the xero team are the most fun loving team on the grid, they all have a good laugh, (you only have to look at the comical annotations to the names on the side of the car to work that one out). They're always keen to let people into their garage/awning or around the car.
They should do well for the rest of the season, especially if Ricky Cole can show us the same pace he has from the last few rounds.

Tell you what would be nice, if they had the correct details regarding Ricky Cole under the Drivers section on this site. They have him down as Mark Cole, who I'm sure is a great chap, but they ain't one and the same!
