If I had £186,000, I would! Shame it didn't go in the auction.

It would be nice for it to end up with a TVR enthusiast, it would be a shame for it to end up as part of collection.

Interesting to ponder why the TVR died but the Veyron didn't.

Isn't there a rather long starting procedure for it?

It always came across as rather fragile, albeit totally bonkers but something that needed looking after.

I was sat behind that car filming it while it drove through London. It caused such a sensation. It looked magic.

In the multi story car park it was the one which held centre stage, and there were some superb cars there.

It was a fabulous day.

My thoughts exactly. So if TVR had had any brains whatsoever, they'd have thought: 'Hmm, let's make a car that works and stop poncing about with one-offs that get a bit of PR but go bang after 7 laps'. And then maybe they'd have sold some, and made some money, and still be around today.

When I spoke to them they were talking about 300k. I made my excuses and left.

Wow 300k, considering it didn't sell when Coys had it on sale for £165,000 I think thats more than just slightly optimistic.

Needs plugging into the mains IIRC. Immersion heats for the oil or something.

So no, not the most convenient everyday supercar. Still wouldn't stop me beating their door down if my numbers ever came up (which is pretty unlikely given that I don't play the National Theivery!)
