I will bring my "belgian" G27 to Stoneleigh for the Kit Car Show and would like to be present on the GOC area.

I have been a GOC member in the past and am ready to pay the member fee at the show to be accepted by the GOC on the showground?

How does it work at Stoneleigh?

Do I have a free access when arriving with a kit car? Cheaper entry fee?

How to reach the GOC area? Where will be the GOC area?

Do I have to have a document or pass delivered by the GOC before?

Regards,

Stefano

Stefano, it's always been free access to those driving a kit car, so you'll get in for nothing saving £12 entrance.

If you are driving over from Belgium you'll no doubt win the prize for furthest travelled too!

Little if any publicity either in club Newsmag nor on Owners Club about Stoneleigh so don't even know where Club stand will be (ask Harvey) so attendance may be well down.

Who knows but with little publicity and everything centring on the 50th ann. do's. But then Cadwell 50th was not a good showing although weather was bad.

Thank you Dandarez,

Little or no publicity about the 50th celebrations ... untill now I haven't heard of an event interesting enough for me to travel from Belgium. I was waiting for one ... a big meeting at a track with lots of Ginettas from all ages and from all countries (the kind of meeting Caterham / Lotus organised for the 7) ... yes, I know Ginetta is not Caterham in terms of number of cars, enthousiasts, clubs -in UK and abroad-, sales, ... but something similar in a "Ginetta" size could have been very interesting. Expecially considering the news about Ginetta and its new life.

There are two Ginetta Festivals this year.. All Ginetta racing.. Classic areas and parades.. big enough? Free entry if you arrive in a Ginetta.

One has already passed, it was at Cadwell. http://www.ginettacars.com/G50/News08/0408-Cadwell...

Another is planned at : Mallory Park (near Birmingham/Coventry) on the 6/7 September..

You should get in touch with Benny Smets - who is the Belgian importer for Ginetta, he'll know when things are happening and they're running two cars in Belcar or similar (G50s).

Failing that there are always large numbers of Ginettas at all the BGT rounds, admittedly "only" G20s and G50s, but you can't help but trip over a few!!

There are quite a few dates remaining on that calendar, see here for details : http://www.ginettacars.com/SeniorGinetta/News07/06...

Of course our website also holds calendar details - feel free to come and say hi if you do make the trip over.. http://www.richmond-racing.co.uk/html/british_gt1....smile

If coming over from Belgium to Hull feel free to contact me as not far from Hull in York. I can also supply more details for the events for this year using private email if you wish? I hope to be at Stoneleigh on the Sunday driving from York.
A tip is to not tell them at the gate if you want to camp as they charge you extra and most just stay and have two days for the price of one.
Free if in a G27 only.

I dont think so, it will be the first time Ive missed it since it started, but its become a bit same old same old for £40 worth of petrol. I hope to catch up the the Ginetta crowd on the 19th, plus go to a few more hill climbs this year.

Quite impressed with the GOC stand smile some amazing cars there. The range showed Ginetta made some very good non-sports cars too. Mel was taken with the white car that looked like a bit like a Lotus Elan (I want to say it was a G15, but I'm not sure it was).

Thanks for turning up in your cars smile

Hi,

Back to Belgium ... and back to work.

The G-27 made a faultless trip to Stoneleigh and back (a 1100km trip).

A big thank to the GOC for the welcome and free meal.

Ciao Stefano

It was great to meet you at the show, and the car looks fantastic.
