Cerbera vibration at rear at speed

Please could someone point me in the right direction for a fault i am having
with my cerbera 05 speed six, when i am on the motorway between 70-75mph
the car is vibrating slightly from the rear eg: under the seat i have had the wheel
alignment done new rear wheels and tyres but its still there. Any ideas?

Thanks
Ed

I used to get this on another car when the tyre pressures weren't equal on both sides... Turned out one side had a slow puncture and was a few psi less than the opposite side.

Edit: Just read you have replaced wheels and tyres so its probably unlikely!

Possibly prop or drive shaft slightly loose? or maybe one of the UJ's going?

A few things not sure how they apply to the cerb...but on the chim Ive had vibration a few times. Once it was because the UJ in the driveshaft hadnt been greased , once it had been dismantled , packed with grease and re-assembled vibration went away. Another time it was wheel balance - just because you've got new wheels and tyres doesnt mean they've balanced it properly. Last set of tyres I tried 3 different places before the high speed vibration at the rear was eliminated. Turns out one of the more famous tyre places that did the second balance had got it 25g out on one wheel !

I have not had this problem on my TVR but I have had it on my Jeep.

Without seeing your car it would be impossible to diagnose. The best thing you can do (if you can) is jack it up high enough (with something other than the jack as support) and wiggle the prop and drive shafts about. Also try spinning the wheels when you are under the car to see if there are any irregularities - this will be hard to spot though.

If you cant do that I would take it to a garage. Vibration is not a good thing and it means that something is not wearing like it should. It will also cause other parts of the car stress and to possibly work loose.

Just having a quick look on here after your phone call that was very well timed at half time in the Man Utd game. We will see you in the morning and try to sort this vibration problem out for you.
