Sun Mountain Bikes
Discussion
Has anyone heard of these, if so good/bad or indifferent?
Just I'm looking to buy a Mountain bike (all mine have been road bikes until now) and live next door to a Sun test centre and the shop owner says he'll do me a deal.....btw this is in France.
Also when buying a new mountain bike what should I be looking at/for in terms of what makes a good one or not..budget €2000 ish

Don't you mean Sunn?
Either way, Sunn were big a while back, as ridden by Anne Caroline Chausson and Nico Vouiliez to World Cup victories.
They earned a good rep, but I'm not sure how they are now.
I seem to remember that Max Commencal was one of their designers, and left to start Commencal, so gawd knows who's there now.
Sorry I can't any further than that
You could always have a look at Lapierre bikes in France, very weel regarded, and very reasonably priced over there...

A friend has just purchased a Lapierre Zesty, very nice bike. We went on a mission trying any bike we could get for a test ride, the benchmark was my 5. The zesty was brilliant. Climbs really well, downhills like a rocket and looks beautiful.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
