Its going to be a contact adhesive as used by Upholsterers... My B.I.L. is an upholsterer and promised me some recntly for a small job of my own... I'll see if I can get the name of the stuff he recommended

K wink

Hi Kevin

If you could let me know that would be great. I'm just a bit nervous of unsticking the stuck bit to get to the unstuck bit and getting neatly stuck back. Did I get the un and stucks in the right order?

If I'm right in my observations that your car has a magnolia interior then the material used to line the roof panels is magnolia ambla available from Woolies Trim at about £12 per meter, so if all does not go to plan its cheap to replace with new.

i reglued mine, try a tester bit to make sure the glue dont
have a wrong chemical reaction and go all gooie (spelling)

also very important

use a hair dryer to warm area to be bent, this makes the material
more plyable. If its old and not warm IT CRACKSyikes

also just a thought, if anyone tries this, if its possible to put the
vinyl under the canvas it wont catch, and come up again when you close the roof, tvr obviously got this the wrong way round.

hope this helps

Replace it. Usually you cant get the old glue off the edges and they will never really reseal.

I replaced mine when I recovered the roof several years back.
Used 3M aerosol contact adhesive - does just what it says on the tin.
