The BEAST is up for sale for a pittance @ Marcos. Major change in domestic circumstance (positive) which I'll announce (to anyone who is interested) on th TVR City Group after XMAS. Marcos have had an exceptional year on the track but I am out of touch with how the comapny/road car sales ae concerned. However we should see a Marcos at Le Mans in 2001 - subject to sponsorship.

How can you sell The Beast for a pittance? I hope you've got a good reason (like you're going to use the money to run your own GT entry or something similar). James

James I was going to get a drive with Cor (Euser) next year but I told him his car was ugly, he said something rude in Dutch and that was that ;-) The Marcos is up for £40k, cheap compared with new ones at £63k but you know how the Market is. No I am (sort of) giving up driving form January; announcement after XMAS! PS Have always LOVED Ultimas!

Giving up driving? You mean you're going to buy a BMW

Already got one, a 735i SE Auto. Myra's Honda VTEC has been sold, because, because, because: I am emigrating to Cyprus on 6th January, Myra flew out just before XMAS and our Vila (just N of Paphos)should be ready at the begining of Feb. Why am I going? The floods, the impending £4 gallon, CJE, British Politicians, the M25, BSE, the cold, GATSOs, anti-motorist environment, the M6, Rail chaos and its impact on crowded roads, a chance to stop working! etc. etc. Cyprus has: 320 top down days of sunshine pa, £2 per gallon (£1 pg for the carcigenic stuff), cheap food, cheap booze, cheap eating out, they drive on the L, 90% of the population speak English, park where you like, they have just rejected GATSOs on the basis that couples might be 'compromised' if filmed together! also 'PC' means 'a computer' and not an over-regulated/ constrained way of behaviour which is overtaking the UK. The downsides: CY TV and media - totally focused on religion and the Turks, no decent Sports cars, Cypriot driving standards. However, they tell me that those bits of telephone line reach across the Ocean so that I will still be able to get my TVR/Pistonheads fix. Briano (suntanned of Norfolk)
