Onto the suspension

Well, about 8 weeks into ownership phase 1 is complete ( fingers crossed) i now have the moonstone beast idling properly, even if its still a bit fluffy as the auto choke comes off. Addresses a few of the immediate other issues such as sterring bearing etc... so now its onto phase 2, suspension.....

I don't really want to go for poly bushes, i know they last, but i dont; want to make the ride any harsher, i'm pretty happy with standard. So, hoping to replace all relevant parts, but can;t seem to see anywhere that does a kit that isn;t poly - guess i should replace roll bar, steering etc... does anyone have any advice on the poly stuff or where i can get normal rubber bush's ?

Also going to be looking at new shocks, the springs look good, but i'm having trouble finding shocks only, even the links on the alternate parts list aren't helping... loathed to spend money on springs i don't need !

I have seen ads for the shocks and springs seperately so you must be able to buy the shocks alone... I bet the usual suspects will sell to you like this, but I'm not sure they would be able to assist with your setup if they are not supplying the springs...

Different shocks needs different length springs - its far easier in the end to buy all the bits from one supplier and get the service you need if there is a problem.
I used the Gaz Man, top bloke & service.
