Full rebuild? I thought the S6 had been sorted for the Tuscan 2 & Saggy?

I'm not suprised that a hammered Speed Six needs a rebuild after 30,000+ miles...It is Race Engine after all, its not a twice round the clock BMW/Jap engine.

What rubbish!

It is not a race engine. It was designed as a road car engine. It was not used in racing cars like the AJP8 was before being put into the Cerbera.

I think there have been more than enough threads on here discussing the alleged design/component/build deficiencies.

Let me tell you this - when you put your order down they didn't tell you that it was a "race engine" and that it would only last a certain amount of miles before it required a costly re-build. Nor did they tell you that when you took delivery

In fact it was not the case that they all only lasted a set-mileage or there was a set time when the engine needed replacing. You simply waited until the signs of doom appeared or until it actually blew up.

i believe it had a considerable shunt, so everything was stripped for the repairs, im unsure of the engine.
