or similar websites. Has anyone done this, and does it work? I was thinking of putting some of my motorsport shots up and seeing what would happen. Is it just a case of putting some photos up and seeing what comes of it? Are there more sites that do this? I'm specifying motorsport shots because that's mostly what I have, and from what I understand the stock photo websites don't like logos and brands in pictures..

I sell via photobox and make some fairly decent money from it - but it helps BIG TIME if you link from sites with a lot of hits... 'Cos nobody goes to photobox looking for photos to buy. (Read... get the audience first).

I got an account ages ago and tried but there never seemed to be any interest in it, keep meaning to upload my better photos that ive taken since then but never get around to it. And you really need somehwre to direct traffic from, best i can do is put links on my flickr page but that doesnt get alot of traffic either.

I might actually try and sort it tonight if im bored enough. Your not gonna lose anything by doing so might aswell.

So if someone bought a £20 print photobox will just keep 10% of that?

And the price of the print and postage. But there's a limit to how much you can charge (they can after all easily click to see what the normal Photobox price is) and I've found that if you keep your prices affordable, the charges take a chunk of what you'd hoped was yours.

Well TBF you have an excellent portfolio of landscape photography and local marketing to pull buyers in. I don't think most would do so well. I'd rather take an order for £x and buy it from Photobox myself, simply changing the delivery address.
