A strange thing happened, unique failure.

After a spirited hoon with the roof down I get back home and find that the left strut of the roof is hanging loose.(Is this a unique failure?)

It must have come loose in the buffeting wind.

So I look on the floor, for the missing nut and the black rubber thingy that sits at the top, but cannot find anything, NADA.

I assume they have flown out of the car, now to get another nut is easy but where can I find a rubber replacement thingy?

Nope down but I also had the windows down (as you do) and there was a lot of clapping sound in the back.
