My mum gave my wife this months issue, and along with an atrticle about mature women getting into sports cars. There is a competition to win a cerbera or a pegeout 206 convertible.

So what, I hear you ask....

Well if all you pistonheader rush out to a local newsagent, check for the number 831290 on the COVER, buy the magazine (if it has it!?, I rung the competition line of course). Photocopy the cover and send it in and then

Bingo you will own a 4.5 cerbera in a month's time... plus a grand to insure it......

Don't think there is a problem with posting the winning number, as the average pistonheader is probably not going to buy this anyway or ring the number, might even add a few sales for the mag...

Let me know if anyone wins, plus I want a go...

Found the mag - took them all off the shelf at Gatwick airport this am BUT the numbers were wrong!!

I cannot believe it, there must be a mistake , I have just looked in my local WH Smith and the numbers are wrong as well !!

I saw this one.. the same car is "winnable" from some flyers that came through the post the other day.. Basically you won't win it, I think it was being run by a mobile phone company or a holiday company or something.. its your usual, "no such thing as a free lunch" IMO.

The odds aren't wonderful I know, individually, circulation 50-70 k probably....

I'm not talking about flyers through a door, a mobile phone company, but a national 'womens' glossy magazine.

For this type of mag and competition it has to be a genuine prize, they also have a peugeout 206 convertible, and £10k on offer.

In reality the phone number you dial probably pays a lot towards the prize...

Keep looking I do genuinely know of someone that have won cars by this type of competition (not a TVR, but a 4x4)
