Bonkers I know, but would it be possible to put a speed 12 body on a standard cerb chassis along with lots of go even faster modifications? I'm guessing this would be a ridiculously expensive project as I would have to farm out the work to persons who know what they are doing.

Thanks
Graham

This came up in a conversation yesterday and the answer was no as the Speed 12 is at least a foot wider than the Cerbera.

Oh and PS yes it is a bonkers idea hehe

could the chassis not be altered and strengthened at the same time to accommodate the wider body. I appreciate the drive to the wheels would end up in the wrong place etc etc.. ummm.. very difficult!

Isn't most of the extra width in the wheel arches and sill extensions? with replacment outriggers, you could probably get 95% of the way there...

Isn't the Cerbera Sp12 on a Cerbera chassis?

There's nothin impossible. You could do almost anything with a TVR, and I'm surprised no one has yet done a Cerb to SP12 conversion. More so given the TVR world is thriving with talent and capability.

In that case let me know who has the ability, knowledge and facilities.

Who would you all reccommend? PM me if you would prefer - especially if you don't want to nominate yourself.

cheers
