Its the missus's 21st coming up soon and I said along with her present Il get a nice bottle of bubbly.. Not wanting to spend £100`s just a decent bottle. Around £50 is good

What are the nice bottles? Im under the impression they are Moet, Verve?

Will she be able to tell the difference between a £50 bottle and a £25/30 bottle? Then you can buy another present - and looks better overall IMO.

Laurent Perrier Rose, seeing as its for a lady.

Search around to see if you can find it cheaper, sometimes it might be on offer.

For under £50 you couldn't really go wrong with a bottle of Moet & Chandon NV Brut Rose Imperial.

Unfortunately the people who I could have got to tiffanys came back from the US before I got round to ordering it.

Looks like the bottle of LP Rose smile

Yes. But don't buy the Special Cuvee. It is, frankly, disappointing. Get a Grand Annee for the proper Bolly real deal. Should pay around the £50 - sometimes found cheaper in odd places (like ASDA!).

Biscuity, not too sweet, proper fine bubbles.

Veuve Clicquot is my personal fav, and for a couple of quid under £50 you could get a bottle of VC Vintage Reserve, although the NV stuff is also very nice.

Go the whole hog and get Dom Perignon. It's available for about £70 a bottle, and she WILL keep the bottle forever.

If she is so much a connoisseur that she can tell the difference between a £30 bottle and a £50 bottle then I'd be looking at something a bit more special.
