Dont know if you guys have heard of these but there are a brilliant set of pedals.

Plastic platform pedal (unsealed) £9.00 a pair. And they weigh sod all!!

I've been using them on BMX (freestyle) for a couple of years now and they have taken some serious abuse with no problems at all. For you DH lot or those who prefer platform pedals, give them a shot and let me know what you think.

For £9.00 you cant go wrong.

Ive got primo pros on my wethepeople, love them. Why would you want lightweight pedals on a bmx anyway?

Yeah Primo peds are lovely, but seriously once you try the twisted pedals you wont got back to the primos.

The lighter the bike the easier it is to throw around and less knackered you get after a session in the street/park/dirt!!

Also If your into pedal grinds the twisteds slide sweet!

Yep, found that out a few years ago. Takes some explaining in A+E.

"So your saying that your push bike did this to you?"

Fair enough, I am just used to the fact that BMXs weigh a ton, and I would rather empty my bowels than go to the extra effort just for 100g.
On my cross-county bike that is a different matter, but I only use BMX on the flat anyway...
