Video camera recommendations

[dbv8]

I want to buy a video camera before this Sundays Lakes Megarun.
Any recommendations for a camera that will be a fair price but will record a good picture and more importantly record the exhaust notes well in windy conditions.
All ideas appreciated.

Well chuffed with it.

Is there a camera setup you can get with 3 or 4 bullet cameras with sound aswell with some sort of mixing box to edit ur own vidoes?

http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk  do some kit that might help with what you want, I suspect other companies will as well.

I'm constantly eyeing up the booty on Fastfilms.co.uk but never seem to have the spare cash to buy.

Would love a rollbar mounted bullet with a solid state recorder and baffled microphone.
