Anyone going to the Goodwood track day tomorrow?
Discussion
No, but if I'm still in the country I'll be off to Cadwell Park for a session the evening of Friday 29th. Got the rear anti-roll bar and equal length drive shafts fitted now so we'll see what that'll do !!
What is Goodwood like as a circuit ?? I grew up in Sussex but never got to the track (wasn't open for events when I lived there.......) The more "techincal" tracks suit minis better than the open ones in my opinion. Maybe I'll have to visit my mum to co-inside with a Goodwood event sometime.

Goodwood was a fun day, it turned out to be a little too fast for the mini, the first 3 corners Madgwick, Fordwater and St Mary’s were pretty much flat out, Lavant wasn’t though which I found out by running onto the grass, coming back on to the track sideways then finishing backwards on the grass on the other side of the track, fortunately missed the barriers so managed to carry on with my session, had some sideways moments at the chicane but nothing to bad, there isn’t much run off so wouldn’t have wanted to repeat my spinning.
The car was great fun but really could have done with being quicker and the suspension stiffened up a bit, I think some mods are needed well worth joining the London and surrey club just for that, £30 for a full day at Goodwood!
