Youtube vid quality
Discussion
Just found out that if you add this to the end of the video links the quality is better. &fmt=18
Here is an example:
Normal
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U7YBRgs1F8
Better
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U7YBRgs1F8&fmt=18
Maybe of interest to some

It should be very noticeable here:With &fmt=18
Without &fmt=18
If you see no difference, check that you have the latest version of Flash Player
Apparently adding &fmt=18 streams a new higher quality format from YouTube which gives you gives you 480x360 high-bandwidth material, and higher quality audio. If you have a lower bandwidth connection the video may stall during play. They are testing and working through content, so it may not be available on all videos.
As an aside I came across this http://keepvid.com/ which allows you to download videos from YouTube, Google etc. in Flash and MP4 format - quite handy for downloading to watch on your Ipod or Phone - being mindful of appropriate copyright laws of course.
