I phoned Chris up tonight to see how he was getting on. As ever, he sounded in good form and is bearing up strongly at the moment. I didn't realise he was in hospital.
He said I could post an update to let people know how he is. I hope I remember the detail correctly
Chris has had an initial CT scan and unfortunately a growth has been found. That said, the initial prognosis sounds very good. The growth is on the periphery which is good news. Chris is awaiting an MRI scan for more details. It sounds like he will be facing an operation very soon.
I hope you'll all join me in wishing him a speedy and full recovery.
He has limited access to emails etc via his phone and I'm sure you'll appreciate any delays in contact etc.
Anyone reading this who needs to discuss S Club details please contact Longers, Gozzy, Mycroft or me for the time being.

Here's an account of my life changing week so far.
Monday I was driving to Sheffield had just come of the M18 onto the M1. Sat in usual traffic queue at that junction. Traffic moved off and I went to move away I went to grab the steering wheel and my right arm wouldn't work! I tried to lift it but nothing happened!
With my left arm I indicated left, pulled onto the hard shoulder and dialled 999.
At this point I started to get some mobility back in my arm but I felt a bit dizzy and peculiar
Ambulance arrives and takes me to Rotherham General Hospital, Motorway Patrol arranges recovery of my car.
Rotherham do blood tests, chest x ray. The doctor I saw diagnosed a TIA (look on google) also called a mini stroke. He said I would shortly feel perfectly normal but absolutely insisted that I followed it up wit my GP as it was a warning.
I actually got in to see my GP the same day and she sat and wrote a hand written referral to the hospital there and then.
Tuesday morning I was in the Notingham TIA clinic where I had to do all the bloods etc again.
They sent me for a head CT scan when the 'swelling' at the back of my brain was picked up.
They now think that I did not have a TIA but that it was a minor fit due to the pressure on my brain.
I have had a further CT scan on my chest and abdomen this morning, this is to confirm the brain swelling is a primary not a secondary. Results not back yet.
I have just had the Hi Resolution head MRI scan confirmed as 1pm tommorrow.
Thats about where I am at the moment.
