What's that? Is that somekind of aftermarket job?

Doesn't really look good. Well, it's not that bad actually.

Looks like the trad French racing colour. Car in question might even have had some GT racing history, being converted back to a road car later?

I think you're right about it being the right shade for traditional French racing blue. But If you're thinking it's the Blue F40 that raced in the BPR series in 1995/96 it isn't. This was a LM model (bigger wing) and a lighter shade of blue based on it's primary sponsorship with 'PILOT', but it worked out well because it was run by a French Team and driven by Michel Ferté and Olivier Thévenin.

It's German, it's Bugatti blue (not quite french racing blue, but v similar), it's a road car, and I'm bu66ered if I can remember who it belongs to

Is it just me, or is that 365 NART spyder inducing ?
