'The private clinic' (big advert in Todays Times)

And how much does this laser treatment cost?

It's worth speaking to your doc about this as there may be other things that could be done. I got my adenoids removed a few years ago, and don't snore any more.

Could be "sleep acnea" worth seeing your Docter about. I have it and been told I have to go to hospital in 13 weeks for a sleep in for a full diagnosis.

My hubby snores too! As a short term remedy your OH could try these earplugs. They are called Bio...something and you can get them in Boots. They come in a pack of 6 and are soft and squidgy and can mould to your ear. Worth a try! HTH

Look, I was drunk, I fancied a pizza, it started well and is not an experience I want to relive.

I snore terribly (my wife reliably informs me) and I'm an order of magnitude worse if drunk. Sometimes it's so bad I wake myself up! Christ knows how my wife copes - fortunately she's a very heavy sleeper.

If I lost a few stone it would probably help matters enormously.

My snoring is odd, in that it isn't actually very loud, but I've been reliably informed that it sounds a lot like an old Ford CVH engine
