Just wish to air my annoyance with an idiot i sold my previous black cooper s to.

I am an avid photographer and lover of cars and have never had to have an issue like this before.

The person is question bought my car in 2006 and with-held documents relating to my private registration and basically ignored all my correspondence - to cut a long story short i had to instruct solicitors (thankfully i know people in high places and the work was done for free smile but this took over a year to settle as the cretin was just plain stupid! He had signed a formal contract with regards to the registration.

So, anyways he is now selling the car and rather than asking me has basically screen captured images from my site www.mborgdesign.com.

I just think thats so low that anybody considering dealing with this person should be aware.

If anyone feels im overreacting please comment but those that are in agreement feel free to add ur angst!

I have contacted pistonheads numerous times now but this appears to be falling on deaf ears.

I have my own car for sale again on here and i have friends who oftenly use the site so would expect pistonheads to tightly control or at least listen to its customers especially when copyrights are being infringed.

To give you some idea of why im annoyed - freelance photography is my hobby. Hopefully others will agree with me?

Sorry to waffle on

I can see why your angry,

BUT, I would have approached it differently.

This guy you sold the Mini too, you made money out of him for selling him the car. He is selling it on, he loves the pictures you took of the car and knows they are better than anything he could do. I'd say let him use them, encourage him to use them, send him the originals, and put your name at the bottom right of the pics. As a photographer myself and self con-fessed self-promoter I feel you have to use every avenue you have, encourage, delight and foster relationships with people and they will then spread your images and word of your good work far and wide.

You can only win from this because more people see your work, your name and then contact you if they want you to do the same for you.
