Got to replace the rear tyres on my S4. Currently they are Continentals but I changed the fronts to Goodyear F1's last time around and am planning to do the same to the rears this time.
I certainly get better mileage out of the Goodyears (Contis on the front did 9k miles; Goodyears have already done 9k but loads of life in them). The problem is I get more road noise. I'm prepared to accept more tyre noise (only really noticeable on certain surfaces)for twice the life but what are the latest opinions?
PS: I haven't noticed any adhesion issues with the Goodyears for road driving compared to the Contis but I have noticed wet issues with Contis near the legal limit.
