S on IoM Ferry

I am going to the IoM in mid April and may well take the Tiv. I was there in Sept in the tintop and thought the ramp for the speed cat from L'pool might have been a bit of a problem so has anyone taken an S on the speedferry from L'pool and how did it get on with the ramp, etc??

I picked an M Series Turbo off the speed cat today (as near as an S you can get, as the S is the evolution of the M) and watched a Blue Cerbera come off too no problem. Adrian@

Thanks Adrian - as the ferry is moored at L'pool to the landing stage which goes up and down with the tide I think the ramps should be the same irrespective of the tide height so if the weather is OK I will probably give it a go. Apparently the Heysham ramps are easier but the Steam Packet tell me that they do have various mats and other things to help with getting cars on so with a bit of luck ... now how do I fix the weather??

Ask if any of the mats are prayer mats ??
