Hi all,

Went for a cruise this weekend and thought I'd do a bit of recording to see if I could capture the sound. It's turned out okay. See what you think - crank those speakers up!

Was it recorded on a mobile phone, and if so, was that phone plugged into the cigarette lighter..?

No it was recorded using a camera but I was holding it over the steering wheel. The picture quality hasn't come out too well on You Tube. I couldn't save it here as is a MOV file and for some reason my Windows Media player wouldn't convert to MPEG. Also there is a strange clicking noise that wasn't on the original.

Just a bit of fun really to see if the camera captures the sound. I'll do something a little bit better now I know it works okay.

I am not jealous, I am not jealous (yes I am really...very!). Lovely sound, prefer the bends to the straight road though. Back working on the engine for mine tonight encouraged by 'your' noise! What will it sound like on the hills of the Lakes and the Dales....cant wait.

To Ketvrin - Bloody hell what a sound!!! It positively howls. What have you done to it to make it sing like that? Love it.

Yes, agreed bends are better. I was being lazy as only me in car and I had to steer and hold the camera at the same time (so I could change gear).

I also did another video with loads of pops and bangs but they didn't come out as well on film. Will take a trip to the tunnels in Birmingham to record with full acoustics
