If you're interested as a buyer make sure they haven't been done to cover something up.

I would if it had one thick and one thin stripe, not sure why but thats how I would have done it.
Oh! and it would have been blue stripes with yellow edges on a black body

Ok temporarily for novelty value e.g. Le Mans, but not all of the time, especially those ones - they're not straight, the gap isn't consistent and if you look at the front TVR badge they're not in the middle! If they are vinyl they might come off ok with lots of care - depends on the quality and how long they've been there....

But hey, each to their own, so if you like them don't let anyone else put you off.

This one was on my 'to see' list back when I was looking, but never got round to it. Sounds like a nice car from the ad, but the stripes aren't really to my taste either.

Showing my age now but years ago I was privileged enough to see cars like the Cunningham (white with blue stripes), Gulf GT40 (pale blue with orange stripes) and of course the Lotus Elans (green with yellow stripe). So I always wanted a car with stripes down it! I once owned a silver Fulvia with an offset blue and a red stripe, I loved it! I suspect however that if I was to do it to my S it would result in more embarrassment than admiration! (But I confess I still rather like it!)

Yeah I think it's different. I don't think they spoil the car at all, it's a pretty bland colour anyway lol.

If the underneath is solid i wouldnt worry about the stripes ! You could fix these !
Crappy underneath is way more of a problem imho!
