to have flames coming from exhaust pipes ?????

only ask as a freindly cop pulled me over and gave me warning say car was not safe to be on the public highway...... however he did not issue any paperwork to get fault rectified which I've had in the past on other cars.

Yea.. Im pretty sure its illegal, not sure what the exact law is but I remember a similar thread a few years ago on another form.

Flames going past pedestrians is seen as bad, along with starting your car in a petrol station..

Even more so if you've got one of Joolz's special chips, which seems to be designed to achieve additional forward thrust by sheer pressure of neat fuel being blasted from the tailpipes tongue out

On the issue of legality/safety - I view a flaming beacon as an aid to road saftey on dark nights, as well as a deterant to tailgaters.

if the filth wanted to nick you, they could easily create a way, e.g. they could just label it as an asbo, which is an easy excuse for them these days.

My Sylva used to do that and local police just grinned - I think that had something to do with its Noddy Car looks though. My TVR seems positively civilised in comparision. smile

What was the story behind that one Pasco?
Well the Kind people over the road complained to the council saying my car was too loud !! I mean can you believe it rolleyes the Bloody Cheek of it rolleyes and was threatened with an Anti Social etc etc
So it came to pass that in certain circles the car was christened the asbo griff.
If you have a look on u tube you may find a video of the car ticking over and some one made a comment below it to that effect.
It has been made a little more quiet now by the addition of some rear silencers which seems to have done the trick.
This is how she sounds now... biggrin

Turn up the volume !!
