New to this - What Camera?

[Miguel38]

Morning all,

I'd like to start out doing a bit of photography at race meetings as a hobby.

Ive been looking at getting a SLR style camera and am not too fussed if its new or second hand - i dont want to smash the bank!

What would be a good one to start out with and could you recomend an all perpouse lens?

Cheers
