Hong Kong at Night
Discussion
Recently went on a business trip to Hong Kong, I'd hoped to do a lot more photography than I actually did, limited to Saturday and Sunday evening. Really enjoyed my time there, the colours and people are so vibrant, and everything is very friendly and the food was out of this world. If you haven't been and you get chance I'd definitely recommend it.
Here's some night shots (tried some street photography as well, which I may well post later)
1: Looking down towards Mong Kok at dusk

2: Soy Street

3: Victoria Harbour

4: IFC2

5: IFC2 & Jardine House (Connect 4)

6: HSBC, Bank of China

7: A bus passing by the Bank of China

8: Traffic outside the Lippo building

9: Hong Kong Convention Centre

10: Symphony of Lights

11: Some lanterns

12: Victoria Harbour panorama from the Avenue of Stars

13: A cloudy Hong Kong from the Peak

Hello all, thanks very much for the comments
. They were all taken on a D300 with either a Sigma 10-20 or the stock 18-70 for the panorama shots, all with a tripod and remote shutter release. It's my first real outing with the 10-20, and I must say it's a fantastic lens, it almost makes you think differently.
For those of you are going shortly, I'm jealous, I was there for a couple of weeks, and there just wasn't enough time, especially working a combination HK and UK time every day. But hopefully back there later next month for a while and hopefully will try and get a bit farther away - time permitting.
