School boy error!!

For those that know me you can appreciate why todays drive hurt me so much.
I am a complete clean freak and the Noble was spotless(Including all the chassis etc)until todays drive. Had to drive from KENT to NORTHAMPTON early this morning and when I got up the weather my end seemed fine. So, I thought great I will use the beast, doh, what a mistake
After collecting my brother in South London and having a very nice drive it began to snow. I didn't let this bother me and thought, no probs we will carry on. Then as I got to the A14 we hit a blizzard. What fun, not. Jesus you have to be so careful (It's a shame not every one takes the same amount of care on the motorway, f***in' tail gaters). Any way, we made it, even in 3 inches of snow. The poor car was minging, and the front had just acted as a snow plough, lol. My friends couldn't believe we drove up in it as it never see's the rain let alone the snow!!
So looks like my day off tomorrow will be spent getting her clean again (Wheels off and rear difuser).

Although not as bad as the Concours Boys (Seen a pic of one of your cars Art) I have it pretty bad and really wish I didn't some times. Just getting ready to get started 
I have a couple of pic's on my phone, so when I have found the software for it I will upload them. Although Gadge, I seem to remember a pic of yours some time ago under alot of snow!!

I know what you mean - although I don't spend as much time cleaning, we had a similar experience yesterday.
Set off from London for the Dunstable hoon - latest forecast said fine, and it was - until it started snowing a bit, then a bit more. When we got to the meet point there was a good covering of snow, and the drive was (obviously) cancelled.
Funny thing was that setting off from the meet point in the snow a couple of cars had traction problems getting up the slight hill, but the Noble was fine - despite being on Toyo R888s. Must be because of the lighter weight!
Then came back through further sleet and snow. As it brightened up after getting home, already spent a good couple of hours yesterday getting all the salt and crud off everywhere I could get to, so it's now clean and dry again (had the dehumidifier turned up in the garage all night)!

That´s spooky I have only just logged on in Costa Rica to check my mail. I´ve been away for a week and have another 3 to go travelling through 5 countries in Central America, was 36c yesterday, wahoo, oh and no snow.
So the snow plough is nicely tucked up at a friends place in storage until I return.

] - enjoy the tour Got caught in the snow yesterday morning.. Made an interesting drive home tho...CAREFULLY....After seeing this happen in front of me..
He was in the outside lane, fishtailed across three lins and disappeared DOWN the embankment to my/the wife's horror. stopped ran down the bank as he kicked the windscreen out with a small cut and his head/hand...

Got it - seriously lucky no slip road collision then! Wonder why he kept the wheel straight across the grass - I'd have tried to spin it to come to a quicker halt it myself (speaking from experience) - easy to say from the comfort of a warm desk I guess.

I assume said driver didn't realise that 4 wheel drive becomes the same as a two wheel drive car when there is no power. The clue's in the name (as in 4 wheel DRIVE) but you'll be amazed at the number of people that forget that.4WD is great in that it gets you up to a speed quicker in slippery stuff. After the end of that acceleration point you are then in the hands of your talent, and so often the talent's run out because the speed is so much higher.....

In all honesty he wasnt going mad for the road conditions. maybe 10 mph faster than me in the noble. the outside lane went from being fine to cobvered in slush. when he see this he moved from the outside towards the middle and the back end went. the rest was history. A shocking sight to see a car disappear over a legde..
