I always seem to have mates that call me spur of the moment and ask for some shots of their car. As I was at work all day and needed to get out.. I agreed. Was a very cold night!!!

Just a collection of the better ones:

What's with the duct tape on the bonnet smile

And how did you get the photo of the wheel, seems like it would have you leaning a long way out of the window...I like them though although not so sure of the one with all the doors open, doesn't have the same appeal on a Polo as a Lambo :P

I like the first one. That car bra looks awful though!

Your mate doesn't like wearing a seatbelt then? wink

I'll be the first to ask if the motion blur was added in later, and the non seatbelt wearing driver is actually stationary?

Some very nice shots in there, a bit of a explanation on technique perhaps?

I got one of those tiny tripods from jessops the little bendy 6" things, great for hanging out the window and holding against the car...
Nice shots, tidy looking car.

Thanks Peeps and Gazzle smile

In response to the questions of how I did it.

I purchased a Manfrotto Suction Mount Tripod off ebay america about 5 months ago similar to this:

Went down a quiet street thats only ever in use during the day. Used the suction cup to mount it on various parts of the car and set the camera onto 20 second exposures and just pushing the car to minimise vibration, was in actual fact only around 3mph. Yeh he does think he's kind of gangster.. we'll just leave it at that !

The car bra is a bit marmite I suppose, it looks good on some cars and is only really meant for everyday driving although its kind of become custom to keep it on at shows now!

Thanks for the comments guys.
