Pie On The Beach - 2!

Ladies, Gentlemen, Pistonheaders all.

Yesterday I took out the trusty Chimaera and anjoyed the Pie On The Beach route. Its a peach. The A339 from Basingstoke to Alton is still one of the great roads..following that we have a rumble on B roads down through Selborne and finally a fast Dual Carriageway blast to get to Hayling Island.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve for the return journey too should anyone care to join me...

I've prepared a schedule and I hope that .Mark will "sign it off" in an hour or so and then I'm going to post it up for us all.

Suffice to say it'll occupy next Sunday - lets hope its as sunny as the one just gone!

Cool. It was really busy last Sunday so I'm hoping that there'll be car parking for everyone.

I also suggest reverse parking from the most remote point of the car-park towards the entrance/exit - that way we can all make a reasonably swift getaway come the point when we leave the Ship to head for the beach.

I've scheduled arrival at the Ship a little later this year - hopefully this will still allow us to park but will mean that its possible for people to get a drink if they want before we move on...
