East Midlands meet up - gauging interest

Just trying to gauge possible interest for an east midlands meet up. Im thinking around Derbyshire, or Leicestershire as a good place for a meet up.

Any thoughts or comments most welcome.

How about tieing the meet up in with a race meeting, and can I suggest TVR Tasmins at Mallory Park on Sunday 17th August
But remembering we are out on the 16th some of us may be looking a little ruff

Should be able to make it down for the tasmins on the 17th, its only about 5-10 mins from my house, so not really a problem, plus some great twisties around there.

August regional meeting 10/8/03
Meet at the Carrington Arms, Ashby Folville, Leicestershire. The new landlord and landlady will be there to meet and greet us all.
This should be quite busy as I believe alot of people who are staying over after Mania may be attending

I notice mania is at Bruntingthorpe (ie not far away from me) i dont own a tvr, and im not a member of the tvr club, but would be very interested in coming and watching and taking photos of some tvr's on the proving ground. What are my chances?

I think you can get day membership. It's £15 to get in and I think it's £5 for day membership. Give the club office a call on 01952 770635.

Well, what can i say! What a fantastic day! fantastic weather and fantastic cars, couldnt ask for more! just a shame i didnt know anyone. But that doesnt matter, i had a great day, and got some fantastic photos!

Definately up for another meet soon.
