Not had many chances to drive this year at all, and when I did the Ford normally got to run. Even though the Noble is happy to sit on its life support in the nice dry garage I thought I'd better let it turn its wheels for once. So, not having been in it for a bit here's what I thought....

Dam it's loud in the car! The fuel pump really stands out and you can feel the engine doing its work, even at low town speeds. The cobbles in Wapping give you a good shake and as I've got the original splitter on, the speed mountains ramps have to be taken carefully.

Out on the road it's pointy. Better over the lorry tracks than the BMW or the Ford. You can see what Lee was good at! Never driven a better car, chassis and suspension wise. So we potter out to Essex in the damp. At the other house I turn in, then reverse and turn in again. Ah, forgot about the lock. Not much of that then!

On the way home we cruise up to the back of an M3. In the outside lane he was making ok progress, but it was obvious that every time there was a gap ahead he'd put his foot down a fair bit more. Wouldn't move over though....

...as he was trying to play the 'pull in then floor it' trick, leaving the following car unable to overtake looking daft stuck in the outside lane. So, then two lanes become free and there's no other traffic around. He moves in. I see the small puffs of hydrocarbons come out of his exhausts. He's floored it.

I let him get about 10 car lengths ahead, change down..... and destroyed him. Totallybiggrin Like overtaking a parked car. So fast I was in danger of braking the speed limit!

In traffic later he gave a big thumbs up. I think he knows about Nobles now smile

Do you mean owners or non-owners Ross (IMHO all owners bar none are positive about their cars but some owners (me included) are less so about Noble Automotive's attitude to our fraternity)?
