I am rebuilding a cerbra 4.2 V8 in Western Australia

and having searched the web and hassled endlessly uk parts dealers

I cant find a complete set of techinical data for this engine.............

Ie the sheet you would expect to find at the begining of any normal manual that lists al the normal geometic stuff ( stroke bore comb chamber vols crank journal diameters capacites ect) also clearances and fits and bolt torques etc etc.........

can you help?

I have been faxed some dribs and drabs and I have visted dave hins very good web site but all to no avail.

my cuirrent stopers for my rebuild are

1) cyl numbering layout

2)firring order

3)clearances of cams in head( as i am fitting new cams and the bearing dias are some 2 thou smaller than old cams1

4) two differin cam set up proceedures ie one show timming on cams being symetrical and one offset at tdc..........

THANKS

ED

Not all of your questions answered but it may be of some help to have browse of 'byker28i' site as it has lots of useful Cerbera stuff see here
Might be worth while posing the question in the cerbera forum too.

The engine stuff isn't on there as I was told the guy who produced it was doing so to help fund the running of his car. After all his hard work in producing the engine manual I didn't think it right to take that away from him.

However following another recent thread - I've stuck up the Torque figures now as well.

They're a bit rare now. The guy used to sell them on ebay but I've not seen them in a while.
