I`m seriously considering buying a 100 bhp Panda as a commuting car to moderate the fuel cost situation . I`ve had drive etc and can probably live with the ride etc but was a bit disappointed to see the test car was averaging just over 30mpg on it`s trip computer .
Has anyone a more positive figure to contribute because I can get this out of my AMG on a run !

Well my commute every day from north London to Soho sees about 32 mpg and that's alot of stopping and starting (I mean ALOT) the Z4MC was seeing about 16!

On motorway runs I'm getting in the forties but it does tend to make you drive it like you stole it which does not help....

I bought one for similar reasons and haven't looked back.

I either commute 120 miles of motorway + B road and average 42 mpg or a more adventurous 60 mile B road blast where the little fella rarely drops below 36 mpg.

I've done over 6k miles in under 6 months and the trip average is reading 38.7mpg

Get one, you really won't regret it...!

Evo Mag did a comparison between the P100 and Prius. I cant remember the exact results but I seem to think the Fiat averaged around 40mpg over varied roads.
