Never even seen one before - I quite like it, but I guess it was a bit too bold - barring the wedges there is a family resemblance visible on just about all TVRs back to the Grantura I reckon.

So when my Chim is 47 years old I wonder if I'll get similar money? I'll be 100 by then so MAYBE will have grown out of it a bit!

Quite nice in a quirky sort of a way that yes

And it might have a Ford V8 in but that definitely looks like a Jaguar gearbox selector... if it works, we'll use it smile

wasnt it an ex tvr dealer who took the designs to the trident as part of monies owed to him by TVR.

IIRC it was the trident that the MArtin Lilly and his dad thought they were buying when they bought TVR..

Very interesting, four cars built and from memory (which is usually suspect)two in America and two in Belgium,a blue convertable would have to be no.4 in which case it has been re-upholstered in a different colour and re-painted in a different shade of blue,it was Martin Lilleys own car for a while.Trident cars in the meantime had built a" very similar" car but on a different chassis(Healey 3000 base) Tempus
