My partner is looking to get rid of her 2 ltr A3 FSI Sport and replace it with an RS6

Does anyone on here have an uncanny ability to value the car based on a few details and perhaps recommend a good place to advertise it ?

I would take any Parkers pricing with a pinch of salt - they're not based on actual trade figures.

CAP for an 03-53 with 40k this month:

Clean 9300

Average 8625

Below 7825

Most people expect a few nice options on an A3...

Recently serviced (2000 miles ago), 12 months MOT, Newish Eagle F1's all round.
Options are pearl paint, full leathers, BOSE + iPod and interior light package.

best place to find prices is to go on autotrader and see what they are actually selling for. Then you know the market price.

Very sound advice - drop 2500ish for approximate trade values depending on spec and desirability of the car.

Don't make the clanger of picking the most expensive one you can find either!
