Chilli
Tabasco
Lime
Corriander

Basmati 200gms
Stock 200ml
Coconut milk 200ml optional - you might just want 400ml stock

To taste
Lahirs biriani paste
Chillies
Corriander, chopped stalks

cover and simmer till there's no liquid lefdt - little dimples in rice - then take off heat and rest for 4 minutes, take lid off - fluff...

not my best but i'm watching Fulham/UTD...

For two - sweat a large onion in butter, then add 4 cloves, 2 cardamom pods, half a cinnamon stick, a good grind of black pepper, and 1 cup of basmati rice. Stir all about until the rice is coated, then add 2 cups of water. Bring to the boil in a heavy-based pan, stir once onlythen simmer on the lowest possible heat until the water has evaporated (or stick it in the oven on a low heat). Most people who think they can't cook rice stir it too often - the secret really is to leave it alone.
