Only one way of telling, get them together.
Figures are all well and good, but most are calculated and not actually done on the road, different cars can get the power down better than others.
I know we all like to brag about how fast our respective cars are, ( nothing wrong with that ),but all the speed in the world is absolutely useless unless it can be carried all the way around a track/road, so set-up is as important as straight line speed.
Sorry, gone off on one there.spin

No you're bang on. I'm off on a driving weekend where all three of these will be there. I was just wondering which was the quickest. Totally pointless really.

Lucky man, anywhere nice.
Will you get to drive all three, or just stick to your respective beasts.
Used to go/organize some very interesting weekend meets for the Z3MCoupe owners, always entertaining and a great deal of fun.
Do the noble fraternity ever do such things, if not, perhaps we should.

Its round the west coast of Scotland at the end of march. Should be good fun.

I'm sure the cars owners will be sticking to their own machinery. I wouldn't trust them in the Noble anyway smile

I tested mine against a 911 turbo and we were exaclty equal - he was on my tail and I let him pass, then I was on his. Neither could get away from the other. I think anything above 100 and the (standard smile) noble may start to lose a little ground, but not sure.

Straight line speed it would be the Noble?

0-100 time of 8 secs per autocar, the 997 is 8 to 9 and the gaylord 9 to 10.

To be honest none of us are going to get manufacturer times (unless its an automatic!) and you've skirted over the issue that the Noble M400 is on R-tyres. These debates are pointless!
