shocks

I have a GTO3 and have never been happy with the handling. It seems to wallow a bit at the front. I have standard shocks and springs.
What should I go for to improve this?
Is it an easy job, or a job for Plans?
How much?

It shouldn't wallow - sugggest you check your current shocks and also elsewhere (tyres, wheels, brake pads, discs, etc.) for other issues.

Love the nitrons, easy to fit yourself, but worth getting the car corner weighted and set up after.

Exactly what I did, fitted them and had plans do a full geo, ride height and corner weight.

Wallow was probably the wrong word to use.
It just isn't as direct and pointy as my own seven.

I take it that if I replace the shocks, it is all four that must be done? Probably a really stupid question!

The next one is where do I get the Nitrons from, How much and has anyone got a part number.

The car is due for a good service, so I'll get the setup done then. Before tho, I want the shocks done and I'll replace all water hoses.

Busy couple of weekend I think.

Yes, all four need replacing.
Noblemods can get them, or Plans, or I think you can get them direct from Nitron, all around the same price I think, which is around the £1,000 mark IIRC.
I have the settings for the shocks from Andy Glover, that were done by Andy Walsh (LoT fame) (after quite some time spent with the car).PM me and I will dig them out.

Nitron don't discount but I know a dealer who will. He offered me 10% on a group buy so if there are a number of us who want them I will approach them again.

It'll never be like your seven it's almost twice the weight!
You could try and let a couple of PSI out from your front tyres.
