steering column

hi does anyone know if a steering column out of an 1997 mpi would fit in to a 1989 mini racing as i am fitting a complete interor in to mini and the steering wheel will not fit

oldboyracer64, I can't answer your question directly, but I'm sure that there are some differences because of the different lights/wipers/indicator stalks and obviously the airbag wheel was different.

Wasn't it the column off the MG TF?
