3000m Speedometer cable

What is the prescribed / preferred routing for the speedometer cable on a 3000m?

I would be pleased if someone could advise as the "car" arrived minus the part and it would probably save a few swear words and scratched panels.

Speedo cable routes out of hole directly behind it through bulkhead past clutch link cover and down around to the lower chassis member follow chassis along to gearbox connection. Use cable ties to fasten to chassis but not too tightly and away from exhaust. I think most would go the same way, i am sure Adrian or David Gerald stock the cable.

Thanks Ian - I guessed it would be something like you advise. I shall be using thermo sleeve to protect cables etc that run near the exhaust.
