Hi, following my rant last night, and knowing that a) the car is due an MoT, tax(free) and insurance; b) it was built for local historic rallying when I lived 350 miles away from current abode where there is nothing happening; c) I feel like a change coming on; d) the car is simply not getting used; and e) have seen something interesting locally, I feel I need to ask your opinion of value either for insurance purposes or to sell.
The car is a Mini Clubman registered on a "J" so tax free.
It has a much repaired but all steel shell. The paintwork is good from a distance of 10 feet but it reacted with something and close up looks poor.
Everything on this list is about 3 to 4 years but only 2000 miles old or newer.
1330 A+ decked block MG head, LCB, RC40, HIF44, Minispares cam, new clutch, shells etc, duplex chain.
Neg camber bottom arms, HD adjustable tie bars, Cooper "S" discs/calipers, Goodridge brake hoses, Spax adjustables, Hi-los on the front, polybushed rear subframe which is good.
5x 5"x10" 100+ alloys with reasonable tyres, 5x 5"x10" GB alloys with bald tyres, 4x 4.5"x12" Rover alloys with excellent Yokohama A539 tyres.
Rear SD cage with removable diag, new carpets, Cobra Monaco seats, Mountney wheel, cibie headlights with high output bulbs.
I'm sure I will have missed a few things I know it has cost me a lot more than I initially intended to spend but your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot, Minispares or Minisport aluminium sumpguard (not the toy one)
Securon 4 point harnesses

HAHAHA ill second that. youll regret it in 2010. Change of subject... I changed my mind again im just gona take my engine out in the morning and clean up the engine bay just to give me a kick up the ass to decide wot to do with this engine(s)(1275 or metro 1300?). Cooperman: I will let you know next week wots happening ive got a buddy coming round in the morning to help me take her heart out and hes nagging me to build the engine with him. i agree with him on the fact it will save me money and i will have a lot of fun doing it BUT you cant beat experience, which is something that cooperman has plenty of. My heart says "give it to cooperman" and my pocket says "build it yourself" im very frustrated as this is a huge decision to make, i would love to build it myself it would be very rewarding to me so ill think long and hard tommorow. speak to you soon..neale..

Anyone hear that echo.....

Right, the rad/fan/alternator is out, the environment agency have been in to clean up the oily mess, ran it this morning for a short while(no water). Now waiting to see where the leak is coming from but like when I put it together, there is NO obvious trace......

Thoughts: 1, it is coming UP from the pot joint area, only when running
2, its blowing out the breather on the timing chain cover under high revs. (the breather has been left open. Should pop it into a catchtank).

I know your right and I'll miss it someday. Neer know I might move back to a place and time where I CAN use it!
In the meanwhile, will continue investigations.......and off to look at an RS2000 this afternoon......

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT
