Talking to a guy at work who owns and love the 911s! hurl

Clearly I told him he was completely wrong and is in dire need of a TVR.

Usual banter, until today where he told me he'd popped along to a local garage and had a go in a Cerbera...

10 mins later and he is saying TVRs are the best cars ever! And even better he is trading in his crappy little motor for a proper car...

Anyone else managed to help correct the porsche error?

Sort of.... I used to have one (albeit with the engine in the right place). Not bad dynamically, but so bloody souless. The S3 on the other hand I can't imagine replacing with anything with the possible exception of another TVR.

With my flame proof suit on -

I had a 996 Turbo before the Tuscan and in many ways I do miss it. Don't get me wrong the TVR is more fun and definately creates more brown trouser moments but the Porsche was also an exceptional car and I will definately have another one.

I can see the reason why people go for porsches, but as Chris mentioned above...

"Not bad dynamically, but so bloody souless."
