Hi bos, I also had a antifreeze smell which turned out to be a small leak from a coolant pipe in the pasenger footwell behind the removable panel, maybe a good idea to check the basic stuff first before taking on THE MATRIX

Mine had a very small leak from the pipe above the fusebox in the passenger footwell, just tweaked the clips up and it's been fine ever since.

Hello Brian

You should not have any problems with the heater, the Noble factory charged about £2200.00 pounds within the last 15 to 18 months to remove the dashboard and fit a brand new heater charged at £650.00 + vat for the heater and 15 hours labour at £75.00per hour + vat. If there is a problem I can only assume either a component failure or they did not do the job they charged so much for properly, a new heater should have more than 18 months life.

I have just checked my details, the repair is not a year old until the 20.2.08, I presume this will be under a 12 month warranty from Noble?

The warranty company & Noble will have all this information on file.

Terry

Are you losing any coolant from the system?
Does the misting occur even with air-con switched on?
Does the misting occur when switch to re-circ but not on fresh air?
Is it OK when whacked round to fully cold (ie by-passing the heater matrix, I think)
If answer to these is yes, then sounds like coolant in the heater matrix (ie a leak).
