Tuscan Challenge car For Sale - any info on it?

If it was always yellow I think its the car Nigel Tustain used to drive. Whilst Team Central won teh championship in consecutive years with Ian Flux and Bobby Verdon-Roe, Fluxie's car was cobbled together from older bits whlist I think BVR's had a new chassis etc. In the meantime Nigel Tustain - th eultimate privateer tooled around at the back of th efield. I don't think the car was ever crashed as it never went as quick as the leaders. I remember seeing Clive who ran Central one Monday in 1996 and he told me that at Donington the day before his cars had come first ( Fluxie) Second ( BVR) last ( Nigel) and disqualified ( Tiff Needell taking his belts off to wave to the crowd on the slowing down lap)I think this car would have been last...

As stated above the car was a 1989, I think chassis no. 19, somewhere in the late teens anyway! It did belong to Team Central but I don't know who raced it. Steve Howard looked it over and said all was good, especially for the year. Apparently it had been fitted with an AJP prior to conversion to road use. Other than that all has been said above apart from it was quicker accelerating than the Cerb that I had at the same time, just ran out of puff at 125mph, on a runway sprint, of course!!

Sounds like it was still running the ajp diff ratio then. Mine did that when we first put it together.. Stuck a higher diff in it, didnt loose much acceleration but goes a lot quicker..I can confirm that I did indeed buy Nigel Tustain's TC in late 2004. I believe that it was originally yellow but was repainted to the TVR factory purple, presumably when they looked after it for him. It was built to order for Nigel I think in the mid to late 90's, possibly '98 not 100% sure of that.
