Fancy making a nice duck meal... possibly duck with coriander rice and maybe new potatoes... any good recipes online etc?

Gordons recipe with soy and honey is fave of ours, but it only uses breasts, not the whole bird.

I've done duck l'orange which was super.

Look up the right temperature for roasting a duck, I can't remember that offhand.

Then take 2 peeled whole oranges and stuff the duck with them. Add a bit of parsley if you like.

Make a basting sauce in a saucepan, using marmalade, triple sec, Grand Marnier, orange juice, garlic, salt. you'll need about a cupful or a cup and a half worth. Baste the duck well, and pour some of the sauce inside the cavity. Cook as per the instructions you find for roasting a duck, and keep basting every 15 minutes.

Easy as pie.

My secret duck sauce:

One jar really good cherry jam (with loads of fruit and no weird adatives)
Port.

Warm the jam till its all runny, add a good slug of port, simmer gently for a few minutes, pour over duck.
